We are seeking Remote English Tutors who reside anywhere in Belize to join our team and make a difference in global education. Our expanding team is focused on demonstrating our core values which foster continuous learning and development.

Start Date:

• Immediate upon completion of the recruitment and training process

Available shifts:

• Monday – Friday 00:00-06:00

• Monday – Friday 06:00-12:00

• Monday – Friday 12:00-18:00

• Monday – Friday 18:00-00:00

• Saturday & Sunday 00:00-06:00

• Saturday & Sunday 06:00-12:00

• Saturday & Sunday 12:00-18:00

• Saturday & Sunday 18:00-00:00

Guaranteed approximately 10 - 30 hours per week depending on your shift.

Experience:

• Experience is preferred, but we offer extensive training for all candidates, so don't be shy to apply if you have never taught.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance while delivering English lessons to a group of students

• Engage and encourage students positively

• Manage a classroom and provide feedback to students on their language proficiency

• Guide students in their English journey

Minimum requirements:

• High School Diploma is required.

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

• 120 TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certificate is required.

• Native English Speaker (Accent Neutral).

• Computer literate.

• Excellent communication skills.

Technical Requirements:

PC specifications?:

• Processor: Intel ® Core™ i5 CPU @2.40GHz (4 CPUs) or greater?

• Memory: 8GB RAM or greater

Backup power applicable to individuals living in countries that experience power outages/blackouts?:

• Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) with a battery life up to?4-5 hours?(2000VA) (or willing to purchase before commencing teaching)?. This is a non-negotiable requirement.

• A separate mini power supply system to power your fibre router as an independent system.

Internet Connection:

• A stable FIBRE internet connection?- at a minimum of 20 mbps upload and download speeds?

• PC is connected via a LAN cable and not via a Wi-Fi connection?

Other:

• Noise-cancelling headsets and HD web camera.?

• Tidy, well-lit, and quiet teaching environment
