ABOUT THE JOB:
CustomerHD is looking for a service-oriented, reliable, amp; enthusiastic assistant to join our Human Resources Team full time (40-hours per week). This position will require you to work IN-OFFICE Monday-Friday from 7:00AM / 8:00 AM 4:00PM / 5:00 PM with a 60-minute unpaid lunch break (slightly flexible hours/lunch). Some schedule flexibility, evening, and early morning shifts will be required based on hiring and company needs. Performs administrative tasks in support of the organization's Human Resources functions.
Primary Responsibilities:
Our people are key to achieving our vision and mission. The HR amp; Culture Coordinator is responsible for the administration and coordination of a range of human resources functions.
Key to success will be your ability to be hands on and demonstrate a deep commitment to creating and supporting environments people can thrive in. You will provide assistance on a range of strategic and operational human resources functions across the organization, including supporting recruitment, onboarding, learning, diversity, policy review, as well as key strategic initiatives.
You will be managed by the Human Resources Manager across all areas of your portfolio, and maintain a close relationship with the Manager of Recruiting and Culture.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
- Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
- Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required files are updated appropriately.
- Provides day to day administrative and clerical support to the HR department.
- Assists the Human Resources Manager with processing and updating employee social security and insurance claims
- Conducts or assists with new hire orientation and other onboarding activities.
- Assists with planning and execution of special events such as organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and other celebrations.
- Enhances organizational culture by supporting culture and workplace activities and strategic initiatives including preparation, analysis and reporting of culture metrics
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management, human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications.
Education and Experience:
- Associates degree in related field required.
- Prior related experience in Human Resources and/or Culture preferred.
