CustomerHD is looking for an IT Help Desk Technician to join our internal CustomerHD IT team and assist with supporting in-office and remote employees’ technology. The schedule will be Monday-Friday from 8-5 with a 1-hour lunch break. Some after-hours/on-call rotation will be required.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Respond to IT Help Desk requests from employees
  • Diagnose hardware and software problems
  • Diagnose remote employee technology issues
  • Deploy new equipment and provision workspaces for employees
  • Assist with user account management
  • Assist with new employee onboarding
  • Maintain inventory for computer hardware and accessories
  • Maintain asset management system and equipment checkout for remote employees
  • Participate in rotating on-call support for after-hours and weekends
  • Working knowledge of relevant operating systems (primarily Windows 10) and application software (Slack, Google Chrome, Office 365)
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Good organization, time management and prioritization
  • Efficient troubleshooting skills
  • Effective communication skills, including speaking, writing and active listening
  • Great customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience in IT support role desired but not required
  • Work in-office most of the time. This is not a remote position.
  • Some heavy lifting may be required
  • Some travel for work may be required

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or more
  • 3+ years experience in the said field;
  • Knowledge of operating various BPO industry software and tools;
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment to regularly meet the company's needs;
